Results of the 2024 Annual Meeting

The HOA is pleased to announce that all 12 Amendments passed at the 2024 Annual Meeting’s reconvene. There were a total of 1,201 proxies submitted. The Amendments will be filed with Hillsborough County this week, and as soon as they are recorded, they will be in effect (about 1-2 weeks).

Thank you to all of our volunteer counters, our Canvassing Committee, and those who were in attendance.

Here is a list of the amendments and their passing percentages (of 1,201 votes), a testament to the democratic process and the active participation of our community members.

  • Amendment 1 (Leasing terms) 85.3%
  • Amendment 2 (24-month leasing restriction) 87.5%
  • Amendment 3 (Moves signage restrictions to the Architectural Guidelines) 83.8%
  • Amendment 4 (Leasing & Transfer of Lots) 83.9%
  • Amendment 5 (Allow fines >$1,000) 70.1%
  • Amendment 6 (Recoverable attorney fees) 83.0%
  • Amendment 7 (Capital assessment on resale) 78.5%
  • Amendment 8 (Claims, Remedies, Recovery of Costs, & Fines) 83.4%
  • Amendment 9 (Voting changed to “majority”) 86.3%
  • Amendment 10 (Removal of pit bull restriction) 79.4%
  • Amendment 11 (Quorum of Membership changed to 20%) 91.3%
  • Amendment 12 (Voting changed to “majority”) 86.4%
